Step 1: Clean
Clean your drivetrain with Dynamic Drivetrain Detox. The unique formula of this degreaser removes oil and wax residue in a planet friendly manner. Fill the Chain cleaning tool with the Drivetrain Detox to easily remove all grease from your chain. With the Claw Brush, you can clean your chain, cassette and pulley wheels.
Step 2: Lubricate
After cleaning your chain, it’s time to lubricate your chain with Dynamic Bio all Round Lube. The lubes from Dynamic keep your drive train in optimal condition by reducing friction and protecting against corrosion. Bio all round lube will ensure that your drivetrain runs smoothly throughout the year with its ultradurable, planet friendly, all-weather formula.
Step 3: Remove excess lubricant
After lubricating your chain, wipe the excess lube off your chain with the Microfibre Cloth.
What do you use to clean a chain?
To degrease your drivetrain, you need a chain cleaner, a brush and cloth.
Dynamic has 3 different degreaser in its range:
Drivetrain Detox: A biodegradable degreaser that you directly spray on the chain, cassette and derailleur.
Chain Cleaner: A powerful two-component cleaner. It degreases your chain and leaves a preparatory primer so that chain oil adheres better to the chain. This will help to protect your chain, cassette, and crankset between lubrication.
Chain Cleaner High Pressure: A chain cleaner in a can that makes it easy to remove grease from your drivetrain.
In addition to a chain cleaner, it is recommended to use a brush, such as the multifunctional Claw brush or Drivetrain detailing brush. You can use the brush to loosen the dirt. A microfibre cloth is useful to dry your chain and parts after degreasing.
